Port Properties

Specific interface ports have their own specific set of properties

2 wire interface port

2 Wire Mode

The Two wire mode pre-sets the gain presets for a specific 2 wire system

Option Description
-18 dB a -18 dB preset is used for nulling
-15 dB a -15 dB preset is used for nulling
-12 dB a -12 dB preset is used for nulling
-9 dB a -9 dB preset is used for nulling
-6 dB a -6 dB preset is used for nulling
-3 dB a -3 dB preset is used for nulling
Disabled Audio from and to the 2 wire is disabled
RTS a -5 dB preset is used for nulling
Clearcomm a -13 dB preset is used for nulling
Tecpro a -18 dB preset is used for nulling
ASL a -24 dB preset is used for nulling

Auto-null

Auto-null enabled forces Nulling of the 2wire system on power-up of the device

Value Description
Disabled The device will use the last null setting when powered on
Enabled The Device will preform the Auto-null procedure when powered on.

Two Wire Call mode

The call mode sets the way incoming and outgoing calls are handled

Option Description
Disabled calls are not send and received
AC AC calling is used for sending and receiving
DC DC calling is used for sending and receiving
AC/DC Both AC and DC are used for sending and receiving

From 2-wire Adjust

Additional gain to adjust the level from the two-wire with a range of -20dB to +20dB

From 2-wire Compressor

The compressor reduces the dynamic range off the input signal by reducing the louder parts of the signal. Making it less likely to be distorted. when enabled the release time of the compressor can be set.

Options
  • Off
  • Fast
  • Medium
  • Slow

From 2-wire Gate Threshold

The gate cuts of audio when below the set threshold. This is very use-full to keep the intercom system quiet and calm. A correctly set gate will only "open" the microphone when a user is talking. It will turn the mic off when the user stops talking.

Options
  • Off
  • -50dB
  • -45dB
  • -40dB
  • -35dB
  • -30dB
  • -25dB

From 2-wire Gate Hold

The gate releases as soon as the audio is above the set threshold. the release time can be set with the gate hold. together with a correct set threshold the gate will nearly not be heard. this option is only available when the gate threshold is not OFF

Options
  • Fast
  • Medium
  • Long
  • Extra Long

To 2-wire Adjust

Additional gain to adjust the level to the two-wire with a range of -20dB to +20dB

To 2-wire Limiter

The limiter will Limit the output to the 2-wire to the set amount

Range
  • OFF (0dB)
  • -24dB to -6dB

Radio interface port

Gain to adjust the level from the radio with range of -6dB to +12dB

Radio Gain

Range
  • OFF (0dB)
  • -24dB to -6dB

Radio Compressor

The compressor reduces the dynamic range off the input signal by reducing the louder parts of the signal. Making it less likely to be distorted. when enabled the release time of the compressor can be set.

Options
  • Off
  • Fast
  • Medium
  • Slow

Radio Gate Threshold

  • -25dB

Radio Gate Hold

The gate releases as soon as the audio is above the set threshold. the release time can be set with the gate hold. together with a correct set threshold the gate will nearly not be heard. this option is only available when the gate threshold is not OFF

Options
  • Fast
  • Medium
  • Long
  • Extra Long

Radio Output Adjust

Additional gain to adjust the level to the radio with a range of -6dB to +12dB

Radio Output Limiter

The limiter will Limit the output to the radio to the set amount

Range
  • OFF (0dB)
  • -24dB to -6dB

Radio TX mode

The TX mode sets the behaviour of the ptt relay, that will enable the radios transmission

Options
  • disabled the ptt relay is never activated
  • vox the ptt relay is activated if a talk is enabled and audio is received
  • talk the ptt relay is activated as long as a talk is enabled
