Device Settings

Each device has as specific set of device settings given for each property is what devices have this property

Backlight

BEACON

Sets the behavior of the Beacon in idle state.

When disabled the idle status color will be overwritten by black. When no Cue/Call/Talk is received a beacon will be black.

Type Dropdown

Option Description
Disabled When the beacon is idle the beacon will be OFF not showing any light
Enabled When the beacon is idle the beacon will be lit in the Idle Color defined in the config file

Backlight Color

BP2 WP

The Backlight color property sets the backlight color of the display in idle state, no audio or cue/call signals are received.

Options

  • Off
  • White
  • White Dim
  • Blue

Button Mode

MCX WPX

Sets the function of the physical button next to the screen. In Talk Button this is always a talk, in Mode Button it will follow the screen function: Call, Cue or Listen. When in listen it will be talk.

Mode Button The physical button will follow the screen function

Buzzer

BPX WBPX BP2 MCD

The buzzer is an internal speaker in Green-GO BPX beltpack and Green-GO WBPX wireless beltpack that transmits an audible Alert call.

mode description
Disabled the buzzer will not sound in case of an alert call
Fast the buzzer will sound a fast sweep
Slow the buzzer will sound a slow sweep
Pulse the buzzer will sound a pulse

Channel Color

BEACON

It is possible to differentiate between different active channels on a Beacon by enabling the Channel Color property

Value Description
Disabled The Beacon will report channel activity according to the active color set in the config
Enabled The Beacon will report channel activity according to user or group color on the active channel

Display Flip

BPX WBPX SI2WR SI4WR SIRDX BP2

With the Flip option the main screen and/or the menu can be flipped upside down. This can be use-full for example when the a beltpack is clipped upside down to a follow-spot

Normal Both the main screen and the menu are in the normal orientation
Main screen flipped The main screen is upside down. The menu is in normal orientation
Menu flipped The main screen is in normal orientation, The menu is upside down
All flipped Both the main screen and menu are upside down

Encoder Left & Encoder Right

BPX WBPX

any of the functions below can be assigned to the scrolling function of one of the two encoders on a X series beltpack. Allowing easy adjustment of levels or balance

Function Description
Side Tone The Encoder will change the side tone level
Program Audio The Encoder will change the Program Audiolevel
Main Volume The Encoder will change the Main Output level
Encoder Disabled The encoder scrolling action is disabled
Channel 1 Volume The encoder will change the Channel 1 level
Channel 2 Volume The encoder will change the Channel 1 level
Channel 3 Volume The encoder will change the Channel 1 level
Channel 4 Volume The encoder will change the Channel 1 level

Extended

BPX WBPX

This function enables or disables the Extended Channels. This are the channels that are not directly accessible from the main screen. The channels are accessible either by pressing the Extended button or by lifting one encoder and then selecting Extended

Enabled The Extended channels can be accessed

LED Intensity

Sets the intensity of the channel Led or button backlight

Range: Min+1+...+6+Max

LED timeout

If disabled the LED's will always stay on. If enabled the LED's follow the display.

Enabled The LED's will follow the behavior of the Screen Timeout setting

Second Page

MCX

A MCX can have 2 pages, this option can be enabled or disabled with this property

Option Description
Disabled The second page with buttons is not available
Enabled The second page with buttons is available. Pressing the SHIFT key will toggle between page 1 and page 2

Screen Brightness

For user operated devices with TFT screens multiple steps are available to fine tune the display brightness, Non user operated devices like interfaces with TFT screens only have a dark/bright option

Screen Contrast

Devices with a LCD screen can adjust the contrast of the display.

Screen Function

MCX WPX

The touch screen next to the physical button of a channel can have different functions. which changes the action of pressing the touch screen and other combinations of buttons and encoder.

Option Description
Listen When the touch screen function is set to Listen mode pressing the touch screen on a channel will toggle the listen for that channel on and of. muting or enabling the channel. pressing and holding the touch screen will assign the channel level to the rotary encoder as long as the button is pressed.
Call When the touch screen function is set to Call mode pressing the touch screen on a channel will send a call signal to the channel. keeping the button pressed longer than 3 seconds an alert call will be send. pressing the call mode button while pressing a channel will also send a call to the corresponding channel.
Cue When the touch screen function is set to Cue mode pressing the touch screen on a channel will send a cue signal according to the current cue state of the channel. the touch screen of the cue mode button will toggle between the different cue modes. pressing the cue mode button while pressing a channel will also send a cue signal to the corresponding channel.

Screen Startup

MCX WPX

The Startup property sets the Screen Function that is active on power up of the device

Option Description
Last Mode Remembers the last screen function on power-down of the device
Listen Sets the Screen Function to Listen on power-up
Call Sets the Screen Function to Call on power-up
Cue Sets the Screen Function to Cue on power-up

Screen Timeout

All devices with a display have the the Screen Timeout property. Which sets the time after which the screen(s) of the device will turn off when the device is not handled or no activity is received. Devices will automatically turn their screen(s) back on when new channel activity is received or when a button, touch screen or encoder is activated.

Not all devices need a timeout to save the display from aging. However it is advised to enable a timeout for devices that are always powered on to reduce power consumption and fading of the display. For devices with an OLED screen like BPX WBPX SI2WR SI4WR SIRDX and MCD it is advised to use a shorter timeout to reduce screen burn

Talklight

BEACON

The Talklight property gives the option to enable or disable the beacon to visually report channel activity.

Option Description
Disabled The Beacon will not show channel activity except for Cues or Calls
Enabled The Beacon will report channel activity according to the active color set in the config or user/group color if channel color is enabled

UI mode

BPX WBPX

The UI mode sets the display view and the direct functions on the buttons

Mode Description
2 Channel 2 direct talk buttons and 2 direct call buttons
3 Channel 3 direct talk buttons and one quick access button for Extended / call functions
4 Channel 4 direct talk buttons, extended channels are reached with a key combination
